Description:
Nolan Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a Colchester-based client for a Production Operative to join their busy team.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production and warehouse environment, offering full training and opportunities for progression.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble products in line with production schedules and quality standards.
* Carry out quality checks throughout the production process.
* Pick and prepare components required for production orders.
* Work efficiently to achieve daily production targets.
* Support warehouse operations, including stock handling and order picking.
* Book in deliveries and replenish stock locations using handheld scanners.
* Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
* Assist with stock control and dispatch checks.
* Provide support across production and warehouse functions as required.
Requirements
Essential
* Previous experience working in a production, manufacturing, warehouse, or similar environment.
* Ability to work to targets in a fast-paced setting.
* Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence and experience.
Desirable
* Experience using ERP, warehouse management, or stock control systems.
* Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
