Job Title: Production operative

Location: Haydock

Shifts: Rotating 6am-2pm / 2pm-10Pm Monday-Friday and 10pm-6am Sunday-Thurday

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour 

12 week temp to perm contract

·        £12.71/hour for any hours worked.

Shifts

·        Weekly 2 rotating shifts 1st week (6am-2pm Monday-Friday), 2nd Week  (2pm-22pm Monday-Friday) and ocassional nights 10pm-6am Sunday-Thursday.

Role & responsibilities:

Packing powder products including hot chocolate, coffee pods, and other dry goods.

Prepare and blend ingredients according to approved recipes and production schedules.
Accurately weigh and measure raw materials using calibrated equipment.
Operate blending, mixing, and processing machinery safely and efficiently.
Monitor blending times, temperatures, and ingredient consistency to ensure product quality.
Conduct quality checks and report any deviations from specifications.
Complete production records, batch sheets, and traceability documentation.
Clean and sanitize blending equipment and work areas according to cleaning schedules.
Work closely with Quality Assurance, Production, and Warehouse teams to achieve production targets.
Follow allergen control procedures and prevent cross-contamination.

The Successful Candidate:

Experience in food manufacturing or food production environments.
Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and GMP.
Ability to follow detailed recipes and production instructions.
Good numerical skills for weighing and measuring ingredients.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift and handle raw material bags safely.
