Production & Operations Manager
Ross-on-Wye
£35,000
Our client is a specialist manufacturer of textiles for a wide range of applications. As a Production & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations, lead continuous improvement projects and ensuring that production targets are achieved.
Production & Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan and coordinate daily production activities
- Managing production orders, staffing resources and operation priorities
- Ensure that production machinery is running at optimum efficiency
- Work closely with the management team
- Identify and manage continuous improvement activities
- Motivate the Production Team to achieve targets
Production & Operations Manager Requirements:
- Experienced working in either a production, manufacturing or operational management environment
- Experienced in managing a production team
- Experience working within textiles manufacturing would be advantageous
- Must be a team player
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or other continuous improvement methodologies
