Production Manager - Night Shift

We are seeking a skilled Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations on Night Shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
As production manager you will lead at a team of Production operatives, Supervisors and team leaders to ensure continuous and efficient operations in accordance with Production, Health and Safety, Quality and Hygiene. You will engage with your team by providing clarity of departmental goals through regular communication.
* Manage day to day running of the area and managing production schedules.
* Monitor product standards and implement quality control programmes
* Drive delivery of operational KPI's
* Ensure that all team members are managed consistently and fairly, taking action with poor performance, and encouraging and recognising good performance.
* Ensure team members are trained correctly
* Encourage compliance with all systems, policies and procedures
* Responsible for hygiene, cleanliness, food safety and employee/visitor safety.
* Ensure factory is ready for visits/audits at any time
* Work towards BRC accreditation each year
* Ensure correct maintenance of equipment to reduce spends on equipment and parts
* Provide hands on shop floor assistance as required.
Criteria
* People management experience
* 2 years experience within food manufacturing
* knowledge of relevant Health & Safety standards
Working hours - 9:30pm - 6am.
