Production Manager (Ilkeston)

At PAM UK we are looking for a Production Manager to work in at our Ilkeston Site, ensuring productivity and quality targets are achieved or surpassed, engendering a sense of pride in the team.

This Production Manager role will lead production at our fabricated and fusion bonding plants. We are a unique site where we combine traditional values with modern thinking. PAM UK is part of Saint-Gobain, a global organisation which specialises in the supply and manufacture of a vast range of sustainable products for the building sector across the world. PAM UK based in Ilkeston, offers a complete range of high performance, ductile iron pipeline systems. We are the leading supplier of ductile iron products for the UK's water, roads, and telecoms sectors. This role is based fully on-site working Monday - Friday office hours. We can be flexible on start and finish times.

What we're looking for:

You will have strong leadership skills and be a confident communicator both written and verbally.
Comprehensive production management experience, preferably engineering/fabrication sector
Have strong administrative skills using Microsoft Office (Email, Excel (intermediate), Teams, etc). Knowledge of SAP or similar an advantage
You will understand cost and control a significant operational budget.
You will innovate and drive improvements, continually seeking to Be Our Best.What you will be doing:

Maintaining and evolving our EHS culture, building upon our 4 Star ISA rating. Showing We Care.
Ensuring all processes and procedures and followed, carrying out appropriate audits.
Daily monitoring of performance across all 3 production lines through KPIs and other trackers. Taking appropriate action to ensure plans and KPI's are achieved or surpassed. Making It Happen.
Understand customer needs and operational capability, managing expectations accordingly.
