Role Overview: We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity on behalf of our client for a Night shift Production Manager. In this role, you will lead, manage, and continually develop production teams to achieve functional objectives that support the Site/Plant and Company Business Plan. You will collaborate with the engineering, service, and logistics teams to enhance site effectiveness, ensuring optimal utilization of production facilities, people development, and fostering a lean culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Continuous Improvement:

Lead continuous improvement discussions, forums, and quality circles to address and resolve production-related issues.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, analyze results, and implement corrective actions to enhance the working environment.
Generate and analyze reports/KPIs, making recommendations for trends, improvements, and corrective actions to achieve operational excellence.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues promptly.
Engage with customers to ensure service commitments are met, updating service teams on issues and agreeing on corrective actions as necessary.
Contribute to reducing environmental impact, such as energy usage.
Production:

Plan, organize, and coordinate resources to meet production requirements, ensuring all pieces are laundered on time, in full (OTIF), and to client specifications.
Finance:

Develop, propose, and agree on functional budgets with the General Manager.
Monitor, manage, and control activities within the agreed budget, addressing any variances.
Collaborate with the GM to develop strategic plans for operational activities and capital requests.
Ensure productivity, cost-effectiveness, quality, and service in the production process of all lines.
Leadership and Management:

Lead, manage, and develop all employees (including SOM, absence, performance management, grievances, and Health and Safety Training) using SMART objectives during regular review and feedback meetings.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze data for continuous improvement.
Strong organizational skills for self and others to ensure timely task completion.
Proficiency in IT skills (email, all MS Office software including Project and PowerPoint).
Proactive, customer-focused approach to service delivery.
