Production Manager
We are currently seeking a Production Manager to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Grimsby.

Responsibilities:
As a Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include:
Machinery Maintenance:
* Oversee the maintenance of all manufacturing machinery to ensure optimal performance.
* Implement a strict monthly maintenance schedule, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
* Diagnose issues with equipment and ensure timely repairs to prevent downtime.
Production Flow Management:
* Continuously analyze manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
* Develop and implement strategies to eliminate bottlenecks and streamline production flow.
Production Scheduling:
* Work closely with the Despatch and Customer Care team to ensure orders are produced and dispatched on time and meet quality standards.
* Adjust production schedules based on machinery availability, staff capacity, and order priority.
* Monitor daily production outputs and adjust workflows as necessary to meet deadlines.
Quality Control:
* Ensure the production team adheres to all quality control standards.
* Collaborate with the quality assurance team to maintain product quality and implement new quality processes as needed.
Team Management and Development:
* Lead, motivate, and support a diverse team to foster a positive work environment and high morale.
* Conduct regular team meetings and individual reviews to encourage open communication and promptly address any issues.
* Focus on the professional development of team members, including training and skill enhancement.
Requirements
* Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
* Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
* Experience in reporting on key production metrics
* Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
* Outstanding communication ability
* Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
* Attention to detail
* Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
