Production Manager, Crewkerne, £45,000

Rubicon’s Specialist Sectors Division has been instructed by a thriving, family-owned, manufacturing business to recruit a Production Manager as the company embarks on an exciting, transitional time of growth.

This is a newly created role that reports directly into the Manufacturing Manager, alternating over two shift patterns, (6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm, with an early finish on Fridays).

Production Manager Responsibilities

Meet daily production targets and audit performance.
Deploy people and equipment resource to ensure cost effective, safe, and efficient operations.
Identify opportunities for improvement and the elimination of waste.
Develop the by performance measurement including regular 121s and performance reviews.
Oversee training and coaching plans for the staff.
Production Manager Skills & Experience Required

Experience within a similar people management role.
Experience within manufacturing or production.
Excellent communication skills.
Awareness of health and safety work practices.
Flexible and adaptable approach.
