£35,000–£40,000
Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

NterTalent is partnering with an established food manufacturer to recruit a hands-on Production Manager for its site in Corwen.

This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of the production function, lead a team of 22 employees and make a visible impact across output, quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for creating and managing the site’s production and staffing plan, ensuring customer demand is met safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of 22 production employees.
• Build and manage production plans, staffing levels and resource allocation.
• Manage production scheduling and requirements using SAP.
• Monitor output, line efficiency, labour recovery, waste, downtime and quality.
• Ensure finished goods are produced safely, accurately and on time.
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage departmental costs and performance against agreed budgets.
• Work closely with Engineering, Technical, Warehouse, Inventory, HR and Finance.
• Respond quickly to machinery downtime, staffing shortages and quality issues.
• Produce accurate production reports for senior management.

What we’re looking for:

• Production management experience within food or FMCG manufacturing.
• Experience leading and developing a production team.
• Strong production, staffing and resource-planning experience.
• SAP or similar production-planning system experience.
• Knowledge of HACCP, BRC, lean manufacturing and operational KPIs.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A practical, hands-on and team-focused management style.
• The confidence to make decisions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This could suit an established Production Manager looking for greater autonomy or a strong Senior Shift Manager ready to take the next step.

The role is fully site-based, working 38.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. Some additional hours may occasionally be required.

NterTalent is acting as the recruitment partner for this position. The employer’s identity will be shared with suitable candidates during the recruitment process
