Location: Gloucestershire

Salary: £50 - £55,000 + Bonus

Role

* Report directly to the Company Directors and will be responsible for

* Oversee the day-to-day production operations within the factory.

* Managing production schedules, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, optimizing efficiency, and leading a team of production staff to achieve production targets.

Responsibilities

* Develop and execute production plans to meet company targets, coordinating with the Planning Department to optimise schedules and workflows.

* Ensure production processes run efficiently while maintaining high standards of product quality and safety.

* Regularly monitor production metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

* Lead and motivate production staff, providing guidance, training, and feedback to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

* Coordinate with other departments like quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain to resolve issues and implement process improvements.

Requirement

* Level 3 Food Safety / Level 3 HACCP (desirable)

* IOSH

* QSHE

* 5 years Production Management experience in a Food production environment.

* BRC/Food Safety Knowledge

* Strong leadership skills and an excellent team player

* Resilience, integrity and a strong work ethic
