Description:
Alexander Steele are working with an established ambient food manufacturing business to recruit a Production Manager (Nights) for their site in West Yorkshire.
The successful candidate will play an integral part of the leadership team, this is a multifaceted role encompassing operational management, quality control, people development, and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage all day-shift production activities, ensuring output targets are consistently achieved safely and efficiently.
* Ensure rigorous adherence to Food Safety, Quality (BRC/HACCP), and hygiene standards across the operation.
* Use Lean Six Sigma and other methodologies for continuous improvement to enhance process efficiency and reduce waste.
* Develop preventive maintenance plans in collaboration with the engineering and technical departments.
* Contribute to major Capex projects related to line upgrades and new equipment installations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.
On offer:
* Annual Salary is £50,000 - £60,000 DOE - Flexibility on this for exceptional candidates.
* Shift Pattern - Night Shift - 12 hour shifts:
* Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
* Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday
