We are looking for a Production Manager to take ownership of manufacturing operations at a well-established, globally recognised engineering business based in Slough.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a company at the forefront of advanced technology solutions, supplying major international brands across industries including food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and marine.
This role is perfectly suited to a high-performing Production Supervisor (or Team Leader) who is ready to take the next step into a Production Manager position.

The Opportunity
As a key member of the senior operations team, you will lead and develop a production function of up to 30 employees, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineered products in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, continuous improvement, and operational excellence, with a strong focus on people, performance, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing production team
Plan and optimise resource allocation to meet output and financial targets
Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery
Maintain and enhance quality standards across all manufactured products
Implement and drive LEAN manufacturing practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
Manage recruitment and workforce planning to meet capacity demands
Oversee employee relations including performance, absence, and development
Track and improve production KPIs through best practice implementation
Ensure effective calibration and maintenance of shop floor equipment
Maintain exceptional Health & Safety standards and workplace organisation
What We’re Looking For
5 years’ manufacturing experience, including leadership responsibility
Experience working in an assembly environment
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
Solid understanding of production processes and continuous improvement methodologies
Resilience and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
