We are working with an established contract manufacturing company based in Mountain Ash. They are recruiting for a Production Manager to join their team on a days and night rotation (Mon-Fri) in return for a salary in the region of £35,000 - £40,000 along with overtime opportunity and additional training and development.

The Production Manager needs to possess a strong hands-on background in leading a small to medium sized team (15-20 people) and have experience ensuring that KPI’s / production targets are hit or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Liasing with other departments

* Ensuring that parts and equipment are ordered to meet demand

* Liaising with Senior Management

* Training and development of staff

* Deliver smooth running of the production department

* Ensure health and safety policies are complied with

* Assist with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities

Qualifications & Experience required:

* Experience leading a production team to hit targets
