WIKA Optical Sensing Ltd, previously known as Oxsensis, was acquired by WIKA in 2023 and brings expertise in optical sensing technology, particularly for pressure and temperature measurement.

Your Activities:

* Receive, inspect, and book in incoming materials and components.

* Pick and kit materials for production orders.

* Conduct stock movements and inventory transactions using the company's ERP system.

* Perform regular stock counts and cycle counting activities.

* Ensure correct storage and handling of production materials and parts.

* Prepare products for shipment, ensuring packaging meets customer and regulatory requirements.

* Process and coordinate outbound shipping consignments in accordance with customer requirements.

* Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.

* Support with Production activities as required by the business need and forecasted production demand. E.g. Connector polishing, ultrasonic cleaning, fibre cleaving, splicing and loss measurements, set/adjust specialist Optical Fibre processing equipment, operating pressurised test equipment under supervision, and mechanical / electrical assembly

* Calibrating and maintaining equipment

Your Profile:

* Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or logistics environment.

* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

* Ability to read and follow work instructions and procedures.

* Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

* Basic knowledge of inventory control or ERP systems.

* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a small team.

Desirable:

* Experience within aerospace, defence, medical device, or other regulated industries.

* Familiarity with AS9100 quality requirements.

* Advanced experience and understanding of inventory management systems.

* Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

* Vocational qualification in manufacturing, logistics, engineering, or a related field is desirable.
