PACKING SUPERVISOR
Key aspects of the Production Line Leader role include:
Managing operatives and allocating duties according to production plans.
Being able to reactively spot and report machinery dysfunction including diagnosis.
Recognizing product quality defects and resolving the issue.
Deliver the expected performance for the classic/artisan production area, driving the team to exceed targets.
With the team, identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Ensure effective handovers between shifts at both team leader and operator level (e.g. production plans, issues, notable facts)
Provide shift-based line management to Bakery Operatives and Dough Makers, allocating duties according to the production plans and trained abilities.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Good understanding of Production and Line Management.
Excellent Man-Management skills.
Good IT skills.
Understanding KPIs
Food manufacturing experience.
