Manufacturing Team Leader
£35,000
6AM – 6PM / 3 On 3 Off Days (With the flexibility to work nights when required)

We are seeking a proactive, dynamic, and experienced Team Leader to oversee day-to-day operations within a manufacturing facility. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for leadership, process optimization, and high-quality production standards.
Team Leader
Skills, Experience, and education required:
· Experience within a Manufacturing environment.
· Experience leading a Manufacturing / Production team, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met.
· Strong understanding of ISO 9001.
· Experience troubleshooting defects and optimising processes.
· Valid FLT license
· Knowledge of health and safety regulations, 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles (Desirable)
· Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and machinery (Desirable)
Team Leader
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
· Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production employees to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes.
· Oversee the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of plastic extrusion machinery.
· Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
· Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards at all times.
· Maintain accurate records of production data, downtime, and maintenance activities.
· Coordinate with other departments (quality control, maintenance, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.
· Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, safety updates, and key objectives.
· Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for team members.
· Address any operational issues promptly and work towards effective resolutions.
· Ensure that production targets are met on time, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
