Position: Production Deburrer and Finisher
Salary: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour depending on experience, plus overtime at time and a half and benefits
Hours: Mon – Thurs 06:30 – 15:15, Fri 06:00 – 13:00
Location: Commutable from Camberley, Bracknell, Farnborough, Farnham, Guildford, Aldershot and surrounding areas
Benefits: Holiday: 25 days + 8 bank holidays / Pension: 3.5% employer contribution; 5% employee contribution / Life assurance cover: x 4 current basic annual salary

The role will see you accurately debur and prepare components and kits in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions and company quality standards, ready for the kit to be assembled

We are looking for a candidate who has relevant experience in an engineering, manufacturing or production environment with a good mechanical and technical understanding. Previous experience working in a tool rooms environment would be beneficial.
The successful candidate will have the ability to read engineering drawings and work accurately to specifications, with good practical skills, dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality is required with good problem-solving and organisational skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a small team.

Duties will

* Carry out deburring and hand finishing of manufactured components to the required quality and customer standards.

* Inspect all parts for burrs, sharp edges, surface defects or damage and ensure all components are suitable for the next stage of production.

* Ensure the correct components, quantities and materials are selected and assembled for each job.

* Complete work in line with production schedules, priorities and required delivery dates.

* Use hand tools, assembly equipment and finishing machinery safely and correctly.

* Carry out basic quality checks and promptly report any defects, non-conformances or concerns to the appropriate Supervisor or Manager.

* Complete all required production paperwork and maintain accurate job and component traceability.
