Production Assistant

Description:

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join their team. This is a temporary position with an immediate start date, offering a competitive hourly rate of £11.44. As a Production Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production process and ensuring the smooth operations of the manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities:

Assisting with the production of goods, following established guidelines and procedures.
Operating machinery and equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy in all tasks.
Monitoring product quality and reporting any defects or issues to the production manager.
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the production area.
Assisting with inventory management, including stocktaking and replenishment.
Collaborating with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Following health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.Requirements:

Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
