Monday to Friday - 08:45 am – 5:00 pm

Our client is seeking a Production Assistant to join their busy production team. The role involves assisting in the production of glassware and other laboratory consumables manufactured.
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who is looking for a long term role, which they can grow and develop their career within regulated manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Shrink wrapping and labelling of products
Preparing packaging and product shipments
Cleaning and preparing products and work areas
Tube capping and boxing
Assisting with stock control of raw materials
Operating pedestrian lift truck to load/unload products
Assisting with incoming deliveries and transferring goods to a secondary storage facility when required
Working to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
Following the methods, processes, and procedures of the Company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management SystemRequirements
Previous experience working in a production or warehouse environment (desirable)
Computer literacy with Microsoft Office products
Familiarity with GMP standards (desirable)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to keep concise and accurate records
Team player with good interpersonal skills
Ideally educated to GCSE level in Science and Mathematics or equivalent qualificationWhat’s On Offer
