We are looking for a Product & SEO Copywriter to join our Head Office Brand Marketing Team in York, Northminster Business Park, on a full-time permanent basis.

As a Product & SEO Copywriter you will bring our products to life through clear and compelling copy that reflects the wants and needs of our customer. You’ll use the latest AI copywriting tools, to maintain our brand tone of voice and increase productivity using ChatGPT, enhancing product descriptions and increasing SEO rankings.

You will support the wider marketing team to improve engagement and brand awareness with our target audience, by increasing the authority and relevance of our product content across all channels. You will translate complex terminology and product details into user-friendly copy that is easy to understand and exciting to read, conducting keyword research and using ChatGPT to write online content which supports our acquisition strategy and strengthen SEO performance.

You’ll report into the Head of Brand and will work closely with the Campaign team to manage the constant flow of product copy and use AI to support activations across, web, email, social and retail channels.

This role will suit someone who is passionate about copywriting and loves using new technology to enhance the customer experience.  You will be a key member of the brand team, embodying our customer through tone of voice and copy, and will have the opportunity to support the wider business, championing AI and working cross-functionally to bring our brand and products to life!

Responsibilities of our Product & SEO Copywriter:

Working with the buying, merchandising, trading, and marketing teams, you will bring our products to life through engaging copy that reflects the brand and our customer.

Use the latest AI copywriting tools to increase productivity and ensure brand consistency across all channels.

Own and maintain ChatGPT for both brands, evolving the channels through prompts to ensure on-brand content. 

Conduct keyword research and use SEO best practices to inform your content while remaining true to brand tone of voice.

Apply your copywriting skills to product naming, messaging strategy, campaign messaging, web copy and email.

Own the copy and content workload, feeding back into the campaign team regularly and managing expectations.

About you 

A minimum of 2 years product copywriting experience, ideally in Fashion, beauty or lifestyle sectors, freelance or in house

Experience using AI tools  to develop brand tone of voice

Blog writing for SEO

Strong understanding and usage of SEO, plus keyword research experience

Excellent communicator
