Job Title: Product Manager (Global Digital Academy)

Location: Preston, Frimley, Scotstoun, Portsmouth, Barrow - (Hybrid Model) - We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Circa £60,000 - Depending on experience and skills

What you'll be doing:

Managing the full lifecycle of digital skills products within the Global Digital Academy portfolio, from conception to delivery and ongoing optimisation; effectively overseeing the delivery of all digital skills learning delivery, inspiring a culture of continuous improvement and delivery of service excellence
Acting as the product owner for Global Digital Academy (GDA) digital skills products to ensure they are developed and delivered effectively and efficiently
Understanding the business strategy and priorities and translating these into the product backlog to guide the scrum teams in delivering them
Working collaboratively with the Deputy Principal (GDA) to deliver and embed best practice advancements to ensure the realisation of the delivery vision and culture through an agile and proactive delivery approach to meet annual demand of digital skills outputs into the sectors
Leading project scrum teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of our digital skills products, providing training for members of the team, monitoring the quantity and quality of the work in progress, and coaching employees on performance
Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of digital skills products and identify areas for improvement - crucially to track the return on investment (ROI) and quality of outputYour skills and experiences:

Product management/ Project management experience
Ability to operate in an Agile/ Kanban development environment
Ideally some experience with toolsets such as JIRA
Some background or interest in Learning & Development environments may be beneficial but not essentialBenefits:

The Digital Skills Academy team:

As Product Manager, you'll join the Digital Skills Academy set up in late 2023 with the crucial aim of providing bespoke training to our employees to ensure digital enablement across the organisation. Your role will involve leading project scrum teams to develop and deliver product offerings (not the delivery of the training). These products and courses will focus on key skills like AI, cloud networking, UX & Design, and toolset specific courses.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the Digital Skills Academy. You will play a big role in developing new offerings for our staff which will have a tangible impact on delivery to customers (now and in the future) as well as supporting our colleagues' ongoing development.
