Product Fire Testing Engineers
What an exciting opportunity to join a global company based in the Cardiff area. You will be fire testing products for the commercial, manufacturing, marine and the industrial industries. You will be working with another 2 Engineers and 3 Technicians.
Our client is in search of
* 3 Product Fire Testing Engineers x 3
Salary is highly competitive and hours are 8.00am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch.
* Performing fire resistance tests on various products, in accordance with relevant BS, EN and ISO Standards using a variety of fire testing processes within a fully equiped and safe environment
* Monitoring fire tests and associated software, reporting any errors or malqfunctions to the Manager.
* Using equipment to complete tasks, such as measuring, analysis and recording of data (this role is pivotal to the success of the fire testing procedure).
* Recording accurately the precise calibrations, readings, actions and output of the equipment, and manage the documentation required to ensure the calibration activities are carried out correctly.
Requirements
* Must be degree qualified within either Fire Science, Fire Engineering, Civil Engineering or similar
* Previous experience withing with Fire testing a product or similar
* Strong communicator, both written and verbally, with excellent attention to detail
