Description:
Product Designer / Product Design Engineer required to join a well-known outdoor and marine equipment manufacturer based near Exeter.
The successful Product Designer / Design Engineer must have a Product Design related Degree with some industry experience either with a Product Design or Design Consultancy background.
You will be responsible for the research, design, prototype & test of product ideas using 3D CAD (Solidworks).
This is an office based position near Exeter and would suit either someone commutable or looking to relocate.

Research, design, prototype & test of product ideas
Product design using 3D CAD (Solidworks)
Discuss feasibility of projects and present concept ideas
Sketches, development work and design
Compile BOM’s and tooling pricing
Communicate with our global supply chain during design for production to ensure manufacturability
Generate renders and animations for the marketing team
Reporting to the Product Design Manager
Office based near ExeterRequirements:
Some exposure to Product Design / Design Engineering / Design Consulting
Product Design or Computer Aided Design related Degree
Experience as a Product Designer / Product Design Engineer or similar
Proficient in 3D CAD, ideally SolidWorks
Commutable or willing to relocate to Exeter
