We're recruiting for a Senior Product Design Engineer to join an established, growing manufacturing business in Kidderminster.

Designing and developing new products using SolidWorks and other CAD/CAM software.
Producing detailed 3D models, manufacturing drawings and technical specifications.
Taking ownership of design projects from concept through to production.
Identifying opportunities to improve product performance, quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Working closely with fabrication and production teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective.
Supporting R&D activities and introducing new ideas into product development.
Ensuring designs meet relevant industry standards, including BS EN standards and CE marking requirements.What we're looking for

We're interested in speaking with experienced Design Engineers who enjoy solving problems, improving products and getting involved in the full engineering process.

Ideally, you'll bring:

Experience in mechanical or product design within a manufacturing environment.
Good working knowledge of SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
Understanding of sheet metal fabrication or other metal manufacturing processes.
Experience producing detailed manufacturing drawings and specifications.
An understanding of designing for manufacture.
Confidence working independently and collaborating with production teams.Experience in new product development, R&D or CAD/CAM programming would be particularly beneficial.
