Brand Assistant Manager

Location: Harrow, with occasional visits to offices in the UK and Northern Ireland, and store visits as needed.
Salary: £30,000 plus up to a 10% bonus and other benefits
Reports to: Brand Manager
Work Pattern 35 hours per week

Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Own Brand Assistant Manager to support our Brand team in developing a compelling customer and retailer proposition for our brand products. This role involves using customer and market data to highlight and drive new product and sales opportunities, ensuring our own brand remains a key part of our customer offering. You will work across departments to design product packaging that reflects our brand attributes and champion our own brand within the business. By collaborating with the Marketing team, suppliers, and RDC colleagues, you will ensure timely and successful product launches supported by trade and consumer marketing and PR efforts.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential

Graduate Level or Equivalent
2 years of experience in brand management.
Sound knowledge of the retail environment.
Demonstrated willingness to learn.
Proven 'can do' approach to work. Skills

Confident with numbers and data analysis.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail for writing copy.
Experience working to defined processes.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
Experience with data analysis including sales analysis.
Behavioural alignment with brand values: Excellent Service, Working in Partnership, Ambitious objectives, Resilience.
Proficient in using Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Key Responsibilities include:

Collaborate with the Senior Brand Manager and Brand Manager to understand customer and RDC requirements using sales, consumer insights, market trends, and competitor analysis.
Utilise sales performance data to prioritise development in the most profitable areas, ensuring stakeholder awareness.
Provide a credible own brand proposition to meet differing customer needs and deliver a point of difference, encompassing product range, packaging design, price and promotional activity, range positioning, and quality.
Develop compelling RDC and retailer communication to ensure product “pull through.”
Create and deliver consumer marketing and PR campaigns.
