Procurement Specialist - IT, M&A, Separation & Divestment
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support complex transformation programmes across IT, M&A, separation, and divestment activities. This is an inside IR35 contract role.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused procurement professional with strong stakeholder management skills and experience operating within fast-paced, changing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead procurement activities across IT and business transformation programmes
Support mergers, acquisitions, separations, and divestments from a procurement perspective
Manage supplier negotiations, contract reviews, and sourcing activities
Coordinate Transition Service Agreements (TSAs) and supplier exit plans
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining operational continuity
Work closely with legal, finance, IT, and programme teams to manage procurement risks and dependencies
Build and maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships
Requirements
Proven experience in procurement and strategic sourcing
Strong background in IT procurement
Experience supporting M&A transactions, separations, carve-outs, or divestments
Excellent contract negotiation and supplier management skills
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex programme environments
Desirable
Experience within large corporate or consulting environments
Knowledge of procurement transformation initiatives
Familiarity with TSA management and transitional operating models
