Procurement Officer / Initially a 6-month contract position / London, Hybrid / Up to £350 per day (Umbrella rate)
Overview:
Our client, a health research organisation are currently looking for a Procurement Officer to join their Team and assist with managing and procurement projects and processes from start to contract award.
Role & Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end sourcing process, from identifying needs through to supplier selection
Prepare and run tenders, RFQs and procurement exercises in line with policies
Draft, review and maintain supplier contracts and procurement documentation
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Monitor supplier performance and ensure contracts deliver value and compliance
Support procurement governance, reporting and adherence to procurement regulations and procedures
Essential Skills & Experience:
Procurement and sourcing experience, including running supplier selection processes
Contract management experience, including drafting, reviewing and maintaining agreements
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Knowledge of procurement policies, governance and compliance requirements
Ability to analyse supplier proposals, costs and commercial terms
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple procurement activities at the same time
Package:
Up to £350 per day (Umbrella rate)
