Description:

We are looking for a strategic procurement professional who has a strong grounding in telecommunications procurement or IT procurement to join a high growth telecommunications organisation. This critical role will drive sourcing and contract management efforts to support the growth and efficiency of the organisation's telecommunications network.

Role Summary:

In this role, you will oversee a team of Procurement Specialists, focusing on sourcing and managing contracts for services that support our expanding network. You will play a key role in developing and implementing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring optimal commercial and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of Procurement Specialists to handle sourcing and contract management for network operations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders, including the executive team and department heads.
Achieve challenging savings targets through robust prospect management and direct involvement in strategic opportunities.
Present category strategy reviews to senior stakeholders, aligning them with company goals.
Collaborate with finance leads to create budgets, review financial performance, and set savings targets.
Manage key supplier relationships, enhancing value and performance through effective KPI management and reviews.
Negotiate favorable contract terms and lead major contract changes to ensure optimal commercial outcomes.
Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Skills and Experience:

Proven experience managing procurement teams and processes in a dynamic environment.
Extensive background in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management of goods, equipment, and services.
Strong leadership and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to adapt and improve processes in a changing environment.

What is on Offer:

£70,000 - £80,000 per annum + bonus
Remote working with some travel to offices
