Cedar Recruitment are currently on the look out for a experienced Public Sector Procurement Manager to work for a London based Rail Operating Company on a 6 month contract, going in 1 day per week.
For this role you will be completing cradle to grave procurement's across all of the indirect spend for projects such as ticketing systems and contingent labour.
You will be required to lead on multiple procurement projects at a time, both above and below the thresholds - complying to UCR2016. Whilst doing so, you will also need ensure you are driving savings, innovation and implementing social value and economic improvements from the procurement activity.
The ideal candidate will have...
Experience of working across the indirects category
MCIPS qualification (or working towards)
Experience of working to either PCR2015 or UCR2016
Exposure to working within a rail environment is desirable
