Procurement Manager
£50,000 - £65,000
UK - Flexible
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day category management activities, ensuring that contracts deliver on expectations, and leading a team of procurement specialists. You will also develop and present category strategy reviews, negotiate robust contractual terms, and work closely with finance leads to achieve savings targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day category management with a focus on contract delivery.
Line manage a team of procurement specialists, fostering a high-performing environment.
Develop and deliver procurement packs and business cases for various projects.
Present compelling category strategy reviews to the Head of Procurement and senior stakeholders.
Collaborate with finance leads to produce budgets, review performance, and agree on savings targets.
Negotiate clear, robust, and favourable terms in contractual and commercial frameworks.
Drive change and improvements in procurement processes and contract management.
What You’ll Bring:
Strong experience in procurement, commercial, or contract management roles, with a focus on service-based contracts.
Proven track record of managing and leading high-performing teams.
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
Comprehensive end-to-end experience in contract management and sourcing processes.
Expertise in supplier selection, auditing, and assessments.
Strong leadership capabilities within a team environment and through category management.
MCIPS qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
