I'm currently supporting a large public sector organisation in the search for an experienced Procurement Manager to join their procurement team on an interim basis. This is a hands-on procurement role with a strong focus on pre-procurement planning, market engagement, tender management and stakeholder support.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end procurement exercises across a variety of categories.
Advise stakeholders on appropriate routes to market, including Open Procedures, Competitive Flexible Procedures, Frameworks and PSR procurements.
Conduct market engagement and procurement strategy development.
Prepare and publish procurement notices.
Manage procurement activity through the Proactis e-tendering platform.
Develop and review tender documentation, evaluation criteria, award reports and business case documentation.
Manage clarification processes and support supplier engagement throughout tender exercises.
Facilitate tender evaluations and moderation sessions.
Provide procurement advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
Line manage and support one Procurement Officer.About You

Proven experience delivering end-to-end public sector procurement projects.
Strong knowledge of the Procurement Act and public sector procurement regulations.
Experience using e-tendering platforms such as Proactis.
Confident managing procurement processes from market engagement through to contract award.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Previous Local Government or public sector experience would be highly advantageousThis is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional who enjoys leading procurement exercises, driving best practice and working closely with stakeholders across a complex organisation.
