Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5pm
An opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Co-Ordinator at our clients site Ledbury. They will help to ensure the most effective and efficient use of company funds through robust and professional purchasing methods, ensuring optimum material availability.
JOB DIMENSIONS & SCOPE
Ordering all material requirements, ensuring best cost, optimum stock levels and customer satisfaction.
Review the film demand from the SAP / MRP process.
Review of materials pricing parameters (Order Confirmations)
Control all film stocks ensure stock levels are minimized and accurate stock records
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Interface with all functions to plan and prioritise supply activities.
Review planned orders and creates requisitions for raw material.
Support Procurement Specialist with all procurement functions.
Holiday /absence cover for the Procurement Specialist.
Manages UK Extrusion procurement – forecast process – S&OP.
Tracks order acknowledgement, prepares and communicates shortage and backlog reports, and provides visibility of potential interruptions to internal customers.
Tracks orders and confirms system lead times, delivery dates and cost.
Reviews, updates and maintains purchase orders until they are closed.
Ensures orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts, reports non-conformances.
Assist finance and logistics staff in resolving reception and invoice discrepancies.
Identifies opportunities and implements actions to achieve efficiencies.
Purchase lamination adhesives.
Control inventory level vs budget.
Other duties as applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Specific Skills and Abilities
SAP experience an advantage, but full training will be given.
IT literate (MS Office) – Excel skills essential
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to prioritise workload
Numerical and analytical
Problem solving skills
Advance English speaking and writing is essential
Minimum 3 years working in a manufacturing environment
Minimum of 3 years working in similar environment to planning & procurement within manufacturing
Good level of education with high achievement levels, plus a business degree would be desirable but not essential
