Role: Procurement & Contract Manager

Type: Interim - 6 months

Salary: £300 to £400 per day inside IR35

Occasional Travel

Location: East Midlands

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Procurement & Contract Manager for our Public Sector client.

To work within a Transformation Unit supporting the project management office, delivering high quality and cost-effective procurement and contract management support to deliver the ongoing regeneration activity to time, plan and budget, to attend team meetings in person when required.

To ensure value for money in works and consultancy agreements by complying with internal Contract Procedure Rules, Financial Regulations, the Procurement Strategy and other appropriate policies.

Key responsibilities for the Procurement & Contract Manager are;

Providing strategic direction and leadership in all matters relating to regeneration procurement activity
Assurance and compliance with Public Contract Regulations and any relevant future regulations
Providing advice and guidance to the Project Management Office, and lead procurement activity for complex procurement
Lead procurement activity for complex procurements associated with regeneration activity
Lead on all procurement and contract management matters associated with regeneration activity including legal and commercial implications of decisions and recommendations
Provide expert procurement and contract management advice to the project management office.

The Ideal candidate for the Procurement & Contract Manager will have;

CIPS or equivalent qualification or experience
Experience in leading Procurement and Contract matters
Experience in Tender Management
Local Government experience desirable
Experience in Transformation Units and Regeneration
Procurement legislation and regulations understanding.
