Procurement Assistant
Bedford
£27,000 - £28,000 per annum
Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 4:00pm | 35 Hours Per Week
1-Hour Unpaid Lunch Break | Permanent Position
Frontline Construction Recruitment is working with a well-established construction contractor to recruit a Procurement Assistant for their Bedford office.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business offering long-term career development within a busy procurement team.
The Role
Raise purchase orders for materials, plant and subcontractors
Source quotations and place supplier orders
Liaise with project managers and suppliers
Monitor deliveries and plant hire
Process supplier invoices
Maintain procurement records and supplier information
Support the Procurement Manager with daily purchasing activities
The Ideal Candidate
Previous procurement, purchasing or administration experience
Construction industry experience highly desirable
Strong organisational and numerical skills
Excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator
Microsoft Office proficient
Simpro experience desirable but not essential
