Procurement Specialist - North West London - £30,000 - £35,000
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced procurement individual ideally with experience in the audio visual industry. You will be working for a leading technology company who have been going through are sustained period of growth.
Responsibilities
* Ascertain project requirement from SM/PM
* Raise & place ad hoc consumable PO’s
* Establish best supplier subject to location, product demand, access & cost
* Make booking with supplier
* Follow up delivery is on schedule
* Raise PO on SAP
* PO management on SAP
* Management of order confirmations, certification
* Arrange site inspections where appropriate
* Check goods on site still required, extend or off hire as appropriate
* Track project costs
* Review weekly supplier PO reports
* Check and process invoices through SAP
* Reconcile statements
* Supplier management – checking and reviewing rates
* Management of plant
Experience
* Negotiation
* Experience or knowledge of the audio visual industry is essential
* Strong organisation & admin
* Ability to manage own and departmental priorities
* Work to and understand dead-lines
