Are you a detail-oriented risk professional with a background in vendor management? Do you have experience navigating complex due diligence processes within a global, fast-paced environment?

Procurement People is currently representing a market-leading global professional services firm. We are looking for a Vendor Risk Management Analyst to join their Global Finance team in Manchester. This is a critical role focused on assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks across an extensive international vendor base.

The Role

As a Vendor Risk Management Analyst, you will be responsible for the end-to-end risk lifecycle of the firm’s vendor relationships. You will conduct deep-dive due diligence for both new and existing vendors, identifying potential vulnerabilities and categorizing partners based on their risk profiles.

This is a highly visible position that requires sharp analytical skills to translate complex data into actionable risk mitigation strategies, ensuring the firm remains compliant and commercially secure.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Assessment & Due Diligence: Analyse vendor risk profiles through comprehensive due diligence activities to identify vulnerabilities and categorize vendors by risk level.

Compliance & Performance Monitoring: Ensure vendors adhere to contractual obligations and regulatory requirements, preparing detailed reports and dashboards for senior management.

Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement robust risk mitigation plans, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to embed effective risk management practices.

Performance Analysis: Review vendor metrics to assess service quality and cost-effectiveness, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

Audit Coordination: Lead and conduct vendor audits to evaluate compliance with internal policies and industry standards, following up on all corrective actions.

Policy Development: Assist in maintaining and evolving vendor risk management policies to ensure alignment with global best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: Proven background in vendor risk management, compliance, or a related commercial risk role.

Sector Background: Experience working within a large-scale professional services firm or a Fortune 500 environment is highly desirable.

Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and the ability to interpret complex datasets.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on delivering high-level customer service to internal teams.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree or relevant Professional Certification is preferred.

Why Apply?

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a premier global organization that values innovation and professional growth. You will work within a supportive culture that offers a comprehensive benefits package, including private health insurance, a double-matched pension scheme, and life assurance at 8x your salary.
