Procurement Analyst Mansfield / Hybrid

My client based in Mansfield is looking for Procurement Analyst to join their team on a hybrid basis based in Mansfield.

This role will see you assist in providing a comprehensive, customer focused procurement service, ensuring that best value for money is achieved. You will also manage procurement systems and information. Produce management reports, returns and ensure that transparency requirements are met.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

To participate in a "transforming strategy" for Procurement delivering increased benefits by working with colleagues, suppliers and other stakeholders to bring about improved value creation.
To contribute to the introduction of new systems and procedures. To support the Procurement team in seeking process improvements.
To undertake specific procurement administrative activities and ad hoc duties and projects.
Maintain Internet and Intranet pages to ensure up to date information is available to procurement team, internal and external customers.
To review delivery and procedures to ensure governance is appropriately applied to procurement processes and to escalate as necessary where policy and procedures are not being applied including approvals and authorisations.

System Testing and Improvement

To plan and perform testing for bug fixes, releases and upgrades to protect system performance
Work with the Business Systems Manager to enable new releases and upgrades to be deliver effectively and efficiently
Train and support business user testers
Manage the UAT system and access
Procurement Data & System Assurance

Maintain catalogue and category structure
System Administration including review of system change requests for roles and work closely with service management team to ensure changes are action-ed promptly
Produce monthly governance reports and escalate any exception findings
Ensure the BCP/DR plan and testing procedures are up to date

In return for your skills my client is paying up to £32000 per year as well as an excellent benefits package that really is above market average.
