The Opportunity
Due to site investment, our client is seeking a passionate and driven Process Safety Engineer to join their team. As Process Safety Engineer, you will have a key responsibility to ensure the sites operates with the highest level of safety, while maintaining manufacturing excellence.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
Provide technical support and guidance to operations and engineering teams on process safety-related issues.
Develop and deliver process safety training programs for operations and engineering staff.
Perform incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Conduct process hazard analyses (PHA), including HAZOP, LOPA, and FMEA, to identify and mitigate potential process safety risks.
Provide technical support and guidance to operations and engineering teams on process safety-related issues.
Develop and maintain process safety documentation.
Lead or participate in Management of Change (MOC) reviews.
Provide monthly and quarterly updates on Process Safety KPIs.You will have the following qualifications & experience
Masters’ degree in Chemical Engineering.
Strong understanding of Process Safety and safety studies.
Experience of Management of Change systems and procedures
Proficient in report writing, producing documentation and the development of procedures and training.
High degree of analytical and numeracy skills.
Able to specify process equipment and produce datasheets.
Able to undertake project scoping, PFD/P&ID development, and design documentation.
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work and communicate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in Production/Manufacturing operations.
Experience working on a highly regulated site.It’s great if you also have the following
NEBOSH
CAD
SAP
