Location: Redditch, Worcestershire
Shift Pattern: 6-2 / 2-10 / 9-5
About the Business
I'm recruiting for my client, a specialist ingredients and chemicals business supplying products to customers across a range of industries, including food, chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
They are looking for a Process Manufacturing / Warehousing Operator to join their team in Redditch, supporting industrial powder packing and repacking, food and chemical processing, and general warehouse operations.
The Role
* Carry out powder packing, repacking and production activities.
* Support food and chemical processing operations.
* Manage stock movements and ensure packaging materials are available.
* Complete production records and maintain accurate documentation.
* Arrange goods dispatch, deliveries and collections where required.
* Follow strict Health & Safety, hygiene and quality procedures.
* Handle materials safely in line with relevant safety data sheets.
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
* Support wider warehouse activities and work closely with the Process Lead.
About You
* Previous manufacturing experience within a BRC, FSSC, GMP or similarly regulated environment is essential.
* Understanding of SDS, COSHH and risk assessments.
* Strong attention to detail, particularly with weights, measurements and documentation.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
* Able to follow procedures and meet the physical demands of the role.
* Willing and able to work shifts as required.
Desirable: Forklift licence, warehouse experience, chemical handling knowledge or experience with hazardous goods labelling and packing regulations. Training can be provided where required
