LINKS Recruitment Group present a fantastic opportunity for a Process Engineer to work within a well-established company who are continuously growing due to company success.
The Process Improvement Engineer is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency, and implementing process enhancements. The role operates within the context of optimising business processes to deliver superior results, both internally and for our customers.
The role:
* Develop and implement process improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
* Define and document standardised processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Identify and analyse key performance indicators to measure process effectiveness.
* Drive cross-functional collaboration to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.
* Operate within a framework of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
* Deliver training programs to ensure the adoption of new processes across teams.
* Lead and mentor a team, providing guidance and support in process optimisation.
* Define, track, and report on key process improvement metrics to stakeholders.
The Person:
* Relevant manufacturing/engineering qualification, BTEC Higher professional diploma, NVQ.
* Proven experience in process improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, or related methodologies.
* Experience in food/pharmaceutical manufacturing would be advantageous.
* Demonstrate a proactive attitude and a passion for making a positive impact.
* Methodical problem solver with a keen eye for detail.
* Flexible approach to work, adapting to evolving business needs.

Salary: £35,000
Shifts: Days based – Flexible full time hours between 7:30am – 5:30pm
