We are on the hunt for an experienced Process Design Engineer to join an expanding team in the Cheshire / Wirral area.

We’re looking for Process Design Engineers in the Ellesmere Port area.
This is a permanent role of 40 hours per week, though hours can be flexible. This role is based predominantly in the client’s head office, but will require occasional site visits.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Support: Attend in-house and client weekly meetings to provide technical support to project managers.
• Client Liaison: Coordinate with clients and sub-suppliers on the technical delivery of projects in conjunction with the project manager.
• Design Reviews: Conduct design reviews and participate in design review meetings.
• Manufacturing Support: Provide in-house manufacturing support based on produced designs.
• Material Specification: Specify project materials.

Secondary Duties:

• Project Management: Manage, report, and approve the delivery of project drawings and associated records.
• Sales Support: Assist in project handover with the sales team and provide sales quote input when needed.
• Build Queries: Manage build queries for both workshop and site work when necessary.
• Best Practices: Communicate good practices to other projects with reference to the Performance Improvement Procedure.
• Health & Safety: Responsible for own health and safety and that of others, adhering to company health and safety policies.
• Quality Assurance: Assist in the implementation of the Quality Assurance and Environmental Management System, promoting its policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.(Chemical or Mechanical)
• Knowledge of ATEX and mechanical design of systems for hazardous areas.
• Understanding of design life cycles of projects.
• Familiarity with regulations and standards applicable to mechanical/process systems.
• Experience in the process, oil & gas, and petrochemical industry
