Description:
Our client is a very well established business, supplying specialist chemical products to a variety of industries world wide.
Main duties
* Improve process efficiencies and aid in process development through an understanding of process chemistry and issues affecting scale-up.
* Plan and implement effective laboratory work, co-ordinate, and review production trials.
* Propose modifications and troubleshooting to existing processes.
* Propose, design and introduce new processes in order to improve process efficiencies and support product development, taking into account cost analysis and safety implications.
Requirements
* Minimum graduate or equivalent in Chemistry.
* Experience in industrial research & development environment.
* Have a detailed knowledge of process' in a number of current plant processes
