Job Advert: Process and Production Manager
Location: Flint
Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 based on experience
Our client is a family-owned business established for nearly 40 years, operating in the construction and manufacturing sector. Their success is built on the high quality of their products and exceptional service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build relationships and collaborate with machine operators to enhance efficiency
* Review and develop current SOPs
* Minimum of 5 years of on-the-job experience
* Assist on the shopfloor when needed
* Hold daily production meetings to allocate jobs
* Liaise daily with the Managing Director and head office
* Coordinate closely with factory production, technical, and stock supervisors
* Understand workflows and optimise processes
* Manage health & safety requirements
* Conduct QA checks throughout the day
* Send monthly hours for wages to head office
* Organise and schedule machine maintenance, including ad-hoc repairs
* Ensure the factory is kept clean, organised, and tidy
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
Candidate Requirements:
* Attention to detail and excellent timekeeping
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus scheme
* Forklift license preferred but not essential
* Site-card preferred but not essential
* On-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate
* Driver's license required
