Senior Private Crime Solicitor — Position Overview:

Manage complex criminal matters independently, alongside everyday magistrates' court work
Contribute to and grow the firm's privately funded criminal defence practice
Based at either the Mayfair or Brighton office
Join as a Senior Associate (negotiable) with a defined path to Legal Director within two years

Managing complex criminal matters independently from instruction through to resolution
Handling everyday matters in the magistrates' courts
Generating and developing privately funded criminal defence work
Growing the firm's privately funded criminal defence practice
Building and maintaining a strong client following
Demonstrating the leadership, commercial contribution and professional standards expected at Legal Director levelRequirements of the Senior Private Crime Solicitor:

Qualified Solicitor with at least 10 years' PQE in criminal defence
A demonstrable following and the ability to generate privately funded work
Proven ability to manage complex criminal matters independently
Experience of everyday magistrates' court work
Ambition to progress and grow, with genuine leadership potential
Strong commercial awareness and business development abilityThe Benefits for the Senior Private Crime Solicitor role:

£65,000 basic salary
Performance bonus of 10% of personal cash collections exceeding three times basic salary (i.e. above £195,000 per annum)
