TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is recruiting exclusively for a Private Client Tax Manager to join a highly regarded independent accountancy practice in Tonbridge.
You’ll manage a varied portfolio of private clients, including high net worth individuals and business owners. The role combines overseeing personal tax compliance with advising clients on more complex matters, giving you the opportunity to build relationships and become their trusted point of contact.

Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of (Apply online only) private clients and act as their main point of contact.
Oversee personal tax compliance, reviewing returns and computations and ensuring deadlines are met.
Advise clients on personal tax matters and work with senior colleagues on more complex planning assignments.
Lead client meetings and identify where clients could benefit from further advice.
Manage workloads and review colleagues’ work, providing practical feedback and technical guidance.
Work with the directors to develop the firm’s private client tax services.
Requirements
Strong private client tax experience within an accountancy practice or specialist tax firm.
Confidence managing a client portfolio and reviewing personal tax compliance work.
Experience delivering or contributing to private client tax advisory assignments.
The ability to explain technical matters clearly and build lasting client relationships.
Experience reviewing work and supporting the development of colleagues.
This Private Client Tax Manager opportunity could suit an established Manager or Senior Manager, or an experienced Assistant Manager ready to take ownership of a portfolio.
