Private Client Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive / Experienced Paralegal

I am currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity within a well-established law firm’s Private Client Department in Warwickshire.

The position is available on a full-time or part-time basis and would suit a Wills & Probate Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or experienced Paralegal who is confident managing their own caseload, with appropriate supervision where required.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of Private Client matters, providing a high standard of client care and delivering accurate, efficient legal services.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing your own caseload of Private Client matters, including Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs).

• Meeting with clients in the office and, where required, at their homes, hospitals or care homes.

• Drafting legal documents, correspondence, attendance notes and other relevant paperwork.

• Maintaining accurate files and ensuring effective case management.

• Recording time and preparing bills in line with firm procedures.

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships while handling sensitive matters with

professionalism and discretion.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing to departmental meetings.

About You The successful candidate will ideally have:

• At least one year’s PQE as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive, significant fee-earning experience, or experience as a Paralegal independently managing a Wills and LPA caseload with supervision.

• A good understanding of Private Client law and legal procedures.

• Some knowledge or experience of probate and estate administration, which would be advantageous.

• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Outlook. Experience using P4W would be beneficial.

• Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to deal sensitively with clients during

difficult circumstances.

• A proactive approach, good organisational skills and the ability to use your own initiative.

• A flexible, team-focused attitude and the ability to travel for client appointments when required.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established legal practice where you can make a real difference to clients while developing your career within Private Client law.
