Our Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked client is seeking a Private Client Partner to lead and grow its established team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to combine high-quality client work with leadership, business development and the autonomy to shape the department’s future.

As Partner & Head of Private Client, you will lead the team, drive the department’s growth and manage your own high-quality client portfolio.

Type of work for this Private Client Partner role:
Lead, support and develop the Private Client team.
Advise on complex matters, including wills, probate, trusts, tax and succession planning, and Powers of Attorney.
Build relationships with HNW clients, professional referrers and introducers.
Drive business development and identify growth opportunities.
Develop cross-referrals across the Firm.
Oversee the department’s commercial and financial performance.
Ensure high standards of client care, supervision and compliance.
Contribute to the Firm’s wider strategic development as a Partner.
Key specifications for this Private Client Partner opportunity:
8+ years’ PQE in Private Client law.
Proven experience handling complex, high-value Private Client matters.
Strong leadership, supervision and mentoring skills.
A track record of business development and building lasting client relationships.
An established network of professional contacts and referrers, or the ability to develop one.
Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of law firm profitability.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
STEP membership or equivalent specialist accreditation is desirable but not essential.
