Our client is a reputable law firm based in Epping, known for its commitment to delivering exceptional legal services to clients across various practice areas. Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Private Client Department to lead and manage our client's private client team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the private client department, including managing client relationships, supervising staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the private client department, including setting departmental goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the private client practice and increase revenue.
- Manage and mentor a team of solicitors, paralegals, and support staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Oversee client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Handle a caseload of complex private client matters, including wills, trusts, probate, and estate planning.
- Provide expert legal advice to clients on a wide range of private client issues.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulations affecting private client law.
- Represent the firm at networking events and industry conferences to promote the private client department and generate new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.

Requirements:

- Qualified solicitor with 5 years PQE in private client law.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Sound knowledge of wills, trusts, probate, and estate planning.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse caseload of private client matters effectively.
- Commercial awareness and business development skills.
- Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g., STEP) preferred.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and maintaining the firm's reputation for excellence.
