We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business within the large format print industry, looking to add two experienced Large Format Print Operators to its production team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with the latest print technology on a wide variety of innovative projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. For candidates with previous Team Leader or Production Supervisor experience, there may also be opportunities to step into a more senior position.

The Role

As a Large Format Print Operator, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality graphics from start to finish, working across both UV Large Format and Dye Sublimation print technologies.

Your responsibilities will include:

Setting up and operating a range of large format print equipment, including UV flatbed, roll-to-roll and Dye Sublimation printers
RIPping customer artwork and preparing print-ready files using industry-standard software
Monitoring print quality, colour consistency and production output
Performing routine machine maintenance, nozzle checks and basic fault finding
Supporting the finishing department with trimming, laminating, mounting and finishing tasks when required
Working to production schedules and ensuring customer deadlines are achieved
Maintaining a safe, clean and organised production environmentAbout You

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

Previous experience within a large format print production environment
Experience operating UV and/or Dye Sublimation print machinery
Knowledge of RIP software such as Caldera, Fiery, ONYX or similar
Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
A flexible approach and willingness to work overtime during busy periods, including occasional Saturdays
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environmentCandidates with previous Team Leader or Supervisory experience are particularly encouraged to apply.

Ideally, you'll live within approximately 30-45 minutes of Derby.

Working Hours

This role operates on a rotating shift pattern:

6:00am - 2:30pm
11:30am - 8:00pm (Monday to Thursday)
7:30am - 4:00pm (Friday)What's on Offer?
