Print Finishing Operator (Night Shift)
We are seeking an experienced Print Finishing Operator to join our production team on a permanent night shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of finishing equipment to ensure high-quality output and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, operate and monitor Polar 115 Guillotine equipment.
* Operate MBO and Heidelberg Folding Machines to required quality and productivity standards.
* Run and maintain Muller Stitching and Heidelberg Stitching machinery.
* Carry out quality checks throughout the production process.
* Ensure all work is completed in line with production schedules and customer specifications.
* Perform routine machine maintenance and report any faults or issues.
* Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets.
Requirements
* Proven experience operating print finishing equipment, including:
* Polar 115 Guillotine
* MBO Folding Machines
* Heidelberg Folding Machines
* Muller Stitchers
* Heidelberg Stitchers
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good understanding of health and safety procedures within a print production environment.
* Flexible and reliable approach to work.
Shift Patterns Available
Shift Pattern A
* Week-on, week-off rotation
* 7 consecutive night shifts followed by 7 nights off
* Hours: 6:00pm - 6:00am (12-hour shifts)
Shift Pattern B
* Two-week rotating pattern:
* Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
* Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
* Hours: 6:00pm - 6:00am (12-hour shifts)
